Exams performed to evaluate a patient’s cardiovascular health.
Our supervising doctors measure exercise capacity and identify any areas of abnormal responses to increased demand of the cardiovascular system. There are many different types of stress tests that can be performed depending on the individual’s age, medical history, symptoms, and other possible risk factors.
Some common types of stress tests are:
Exercise Echocardiography Stress Test
Pharmacologic Stress Testing
These types of stress tests are often performed on individuals who are experiencing symptoms such as heart palpitations, shortness of breath, high blood pressure, diabetes, light-headedness, or dizziness. A history of smoking, a family history of heart disease, or high cholesterol can all be reasons for individuals to be stress tested.
