There are many different types of stress tests that can be performed depending on the individuals age, medical history, symptoms, and other possible risk factors.
These types of stress tests are often performed on individuals who are experiencing symptoms such as heart palpitations, shortness of breath, high blood pressure, diabetes, light-headedness, or dizziness. A history of smoking, a family history of heart disease or high cholesterol are all reasons for individuals to be stress tested.
